Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Kisumi collects and stores the following data when you use the bot or dashboard:

• Server data: Guild ID, channel IDs, role IDs, and bot configuration settings (welcome messages, auto-mod rules, prefix, etc.).
• User data: User IDs for economy balances, XP/levels, warnings, roleplay characters, team memberships, and moderation logs.
• User-uploaded images: Avatar and banner images you upload for roleplay characters and proxy profiles are stored on Discord's servers (re-uploaded to a private channel) to ensure they remain accessible. These images are only used for the features you configured and are deleted when you delete the associated character or proxy.
• Usage data: Command usage counts and daily aggregate statistics (messages sent, members joined/left) for the analytics dashboard.
• Dashboard login: When you log in via Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar to authenticate you. We do not store your Discord password or access token permanently.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Message content (messages are processed in real-time for auto-mod and triggers but are never stored, except proxied message content which is logged for moderation when proxy logging is enabled by server administrators).
• Direct messages or private channel content.
• Email addresses, IP addresses, or personal identification information beyond Discord user IDs.
• Payment card details (payments are processed entirely by Stripe; we only store your subscription status).

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate bot features (economy, leveling, moderation, etc.).
• To display server analytics on the web dashboard.
• To enforce premium tier access and module gating.
• To improve the bot and fix bugs.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored in a MongoDB database on the server hosting the bot. User-uploaded images are stored on Discord's infrastructure via a private, bot-only channel. Data is not shared with third parties except:

• Stripe: If you purchase premium, your guild ID is shared with Stripe to process the subscription.
• Discord: The bot interacts with the Discord API to function. Discord's own privacy policy applies to data processed by Discord.
• Third-party APIs: NSFW commands use external image APIs (nekos.life, Rule34). No user data is sent to these services; only search queries you provide.

5. Data Retention

• Server configuration is retained as long as the bot is in your server.
• When the bot is removed from a server, configuration data may persist but will not be actively used. You can request deletion by contacting us.
• Economy, leveling, and roleplay data is retained per-server and can be reset by server administrators.

6. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your server's data at any time by:

• Removing the bot from your server and contacting us to confirm deletion.
• Contacting the bot owner through Discord with your Guild ID.

7. Children's Privacy

Kisumi is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy at any time. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be announced in our support server.
